Our experience buying a Tub from Canadian Hot Tub has been great! This is our second direct buy from the company. Our first was in the early 1980's when they were just new and the latest in June of 2011. In the years between we had another second hand Canadian tub and a California Acylic spa. While not experts on hot tubs, we certainly have experience. This latest tub will probably be the last as I am now retired and this will be the last house I live in, so I wanted the best. CHT were great to deal with in terms of coming to a price including instillation, tax etc. The tub was delivered and installed when promised and within the time we were told it would take. With a few teething problems, their follow up and customer response was first class. In comparisson to an acrylic tub, the deep, round tub has many advantages. No moulded seats! These force the tub users to have to sit in a certail location and in a per determined position. With the wooden tub everyone is free to move around. The smell of the ceder wood adds to the atmospher. There is no atmospher in plastic. The look of tub built into a deck is fantastic.
If you are considering the purchase of a spa, my 35 year experience as a tub owner says "Go wood and Go Canadian"
